my thoughts to your screen
Hello and welcome to my blog! I first want to thank you for taking the time to view my site. I am so excited to share my thoughts and ideas with all of you!
I have always enjoyed writing because I like to share my (sometimes crazy) ideas and I find it to be very therapeutic. I love writing and talking about anything that pursues a healthy and happy lifestyle. My topics are collective-whether it may be testimonies to personal fashion favorites, I am looking forward to sharing!
I am excited to share my passions and the life lessons I have gained knowledge on. Not only that, I can’t wait to see what else I will be taught because I am young and have so much more growing ahead of me!
Thank YOU for browsing my blog!
the writer herself
Now that you know what my blog is about, you may be wondering who I am; nice to meet you! I am Rebecca (as you could guess from the title) and I am a creative writer who loves life. I am exploring life and taking every opportunity I can to see the world through God’s eyes.
I am 20 and currently am a sophomore at Grand Valley State University. I am majoring in Social Work with an emphasis on senior citizens. If I am not at school or work, I enjoy
*seeing my adorable nieces
*hanging out with my friends
*taking photos of the sunsets
*shopping for anything (retail therapy anyone?)
wearing my heart on my sleeve
Why this Bible passage? The theme of my blog is based off Jeremiah 31:3,
“The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”
Jesus gives me (all of us) an everlasting love and has shown me (all of us) unfailing kindness. Whether someone is a believer or not, that is the message and attitude I want to a true example of.
Yes, my blog will consist of fun, random entries but I am also sharing a piece of me. I am ready to share personal experiences and I am not afraid to wear my heart on my sleeve. I am excited to be real and raw. I am excited to share my journey and I hope you enjoy reading about it!
